I'm having a devil of a time. I went through the upgrade, and I got this error when I tried to enter a test comment:
----
user error: Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
query: INSERT INTO comments (cid, nid, pid, uid, subject, comment, format, hostname, timestamp, status, score, users, thread, name, mail, homepage) VALUES (1493, 1488, 0, 1, 'test', 'test', '3', 129, 1097028458, 0, '0', 'a:1:{i:0;s:1:\"0\";}', '2/', 'pennywit', '') in /home/editorja/public_html/pennywit/drupal/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 125.

Any idea how I can fix this?
Comments
A second bit of data ..
I noticed that in my database, the column names are in a different order than the column names in the query that is supposed to insert the comment. Could this be causing the problem?
No, the error says "column co
No, the error says "column count" which means that your database is missing a column (or has an extra one). I would look at the database.mysql file and a description of your comments table and see who has more/less columns.
(Also the query as listed includes column names, so the order shouldn't matter.)
Same error
I'm getting the same error. I doublechecked the database file and my structure. The comments table has 16 items, with the same names and attributes as those in database.mysql. Yet the error persists.

Might be dues to a faulty patch that was committed (and fixed) yesterday. Please download a new tarball.

OK
I'm no techie, so you'll have to translate for me. I assume "download a new tarball" means "download the tar.gz file again." But what should I do with it then? Run update.php? Replace comments.module? Rebuild my SQL Database?

Worked
This time it worked. Actually, I think I had the right file last time also, but that I forgot to inactivate the module before replacing the file.
