"Upload Preview" has one.

and it shows up in the teaser - in the module listing pages.

So, how does one add an image (screen shot) so that it shows up in the module listing?

I've added a 'screen shot' link to the adsense_injector module, but I don't see the image showing up anywhere - you can click a link and see the image, but it doesn't appear anywhere in the listing. img tags aren't allowed in the input filter..

Why do some modules have this special feature? Is this available only to a select few? How does one get invited to this party? :D

IMG tag is available only to those people who have access to the Full HTML input filter. Those members of our community who have accepted the responsibilities of site maintainer role have this filter available as part of their responsibilities.

How do you get an image to display in your project? You file an infrastructure issue requesting that your project be switched to Full HTML and your image will be displayed. Alternatively you can ask in IRC, there is often though not always someone with site maintainer rights who can spare the time right then.

Once it's switched to Full HTML filter, you will lose the ability to edit it. To edit the project description content, merely reverse the process and we'll switch it back for you.
