Event Integration [#1095584]

Just wanting to get the ball rolling. For our particular use case, event integration would be of most benefit, since we have a policy of moving anything requiring a login into CCB. But at the moment we have to double-enter events both in CCB and on our Drupal site. It would be great to be able to pull events from CCB into Drupal automatically.

Does anyone know what CCB have in the way of an API (if anything) and where I can find the details. Last time I looked they only had this calendar-in-an-ifram thing that wasn't particularly appealing.

I have spent a few days working with the CCB API for event and group interaction. I agree with this challenge - active group leaders are ok with logging in to CCB, but the external public side is lacking. I am creating a module to connect to the database, pull events and groups to Drupal, and then create views to better manipulate and use the data.

I have it working, but need to clean up the code before submitting it. In addition, this will be my first module submission, so I may need some help making sure I follow Drupal community protocols.

But, thanks to the Mustardseed podcast on Features, I will be distributing a feature bundle soon.

Did you get anywhere with this? Would you be happy to post the source code in this thread, even if you never got quite as far as a module you were happy to commit to drupal.org?
