Activating Admin menu slides opposite side

When you activate the Admin menu by clicking the tools icon, the content shifts on two sides instead of one in order to make space for the admin menu bar. This however does not seems to be the case on all pages. I have found it to be true on the Admin page (see screen shot below). It'll create space on the left side (where it's located) and on the right side.

The same thing does appear on other admin pages, but when the page is reloaded with the Admin menu activ it resets and uses all available space.

I am using Rubik (and/or Fubik subtheme) as the admin theme.
