I did a quick search of the custom breadcrumbs archives and don't see any answers about how to enable this version to be applied to paths and views. Is it possible to use custom breadcrumbs in those areas now?

Secondly, I created a VERY basic breadcrumb for pages. For example:

Titles: [current-page:title]
Paths: [current-page:url]

When I go to a page, I see: Home > Current-page's title >

That second greater than symbol should not be there. How can I remove it?

Thanks.

No, it doesn't work for 7.x-1.x-dev. These features come with the 6.x-2.x releases. When they are ported to 7.x-2.x it will be available.

I am not sure about the origin of the second > symbol. Custom breadcrumbs doesn't format the breadcrumb - this is done by the theme....

Some themes have a setting for dropping the last > from the breadcrumb, so check your theme configuration.

Is there really no possibility to set breadcrumbs for views and panels??

NancyDru’s picture

Views has a setting buried somewhere to specify breadcrumbs, but it isn't terribly helpful for multiple levels.

I have found the only way I can really make it work right is to create a menu entry in the correct place in the menu.

Panels may require something like the Page Title module. I find that Panels is used many times when it is not really needed.

the second > comes from your theme (most probably ZEN). go to the theme administration page and deactivate the trailing >

Version: 7.x-1.x-dev » 7.x-2.x-dev
Status: Postponed » Fixed

custom_breadcrumbsapi, _paths, _views, and _identifiers were added to 7.x-2.x-dev in the last commit. This completes the initial port of 6.x-2.x to D7. All of these need to be tested. When/if you find problems with these modules please create a new issue. Thanks.
