I have a user which created a lot of nodes. If I delete this user will be content deleted? What info is going to appear under "
created by"?

It depends on what you have set. You can set the action when you delete a user to delete the content, keep the content and assign it to anonymous or unpublish it I think.

I've been looking for the setting in Drupal 6 and can't find it. In Drupal 7 it is under admin>config>people

On my Drupal 6 install, if I delete a user, it assigns their content to anonymous.
