+1 Also community would be appreciated for the ability to navigate through folders of other galleries. (I hope that plupload can be modified for such thing too)

It would be great to have. Having a few thousands of pic in the folder 'files' that contains other folders is not comfortable. Actually it is the most important thing that prevents us from using the module on prod.

+1 would love this feature. Also useful when you have multiple files that are called for example '1.jpg', but which belong in different albums.
