During the installation of the distro I'm getting different error messages:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in ../sites/all/modules/contrib/views/includes/handlers.inc on line 993

Same error message but a different location: ../sites/all/modules/contrib/views/modules/taxonomy.views_default.inc on line 183

You'll need to increase the memory of your php install.

closing this issue, this is a common issue that has to do with drupal and php memory, not with my particular distribution (other than it requires for memory than a standard install).
