I tried to crate new Views page, if Style is selected Slideshow, I get the error 500. (if json2/json2.js is put in library)

any help on this?

I have installed both releases of json2.js
The January 20, 2011 633fe5ae

and the November 18, 2010 11c7bdf4

They both give the same error

I am using :
Views 6.x-3.x-dev (2011-Jan-21)
Views Slideshow 6.x-3.x-dev (2011-Jan-30)
and jQuery Cycle Plugin Latest version: 2.94 (20-DEC-2010)

Can you try the latest dev? A patch was committed on the 2nd for a similar error.

Try updating the json2 file. I was having a problem with Views Slideshow / Nice Menus crashing IE8, which also called on json2. Rachel Baker updated the JSON file (attached) by just wrapping it in a function, and everything works fine on my site now.
