Hi all,
I am trying to set the sidebar on the theme but I can't seem to get it showing how I want. I want to use just one sidebar. I have it set how I wanted with content left and first sidebar on the right for my front page. But for all inner pages I wanted a sidebar on the left for a menu with content on the right.
I have tried cetting for content central, then setting second sidebar for the frontpage, first sidebar for other pages but whatever I do the sidebar always shows to the left.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks, Ashley.

AshleyF73 CreditAttribution: AshleyF73 commentedI am really struggling to adopt the themes regions, is anyone able to help me at all. I managed to add a custom right only sidebar region to my frontpage and set the content left for the teaser, which works fine.
However, for the node pages I just want a sidebar left which I can do, but I don't want the two sidebars widths combined, I just want say sidebar left to be 200px, with the content node region to be the rest of the available width. Whatever I do seems to change it for the front page then which messed up my front page.
Is there any way to set two content widths? one for the front page, one for the inner node pages? Or set the content to be 100% of remaining width after fixed sidebar width? I just cant work out the grid css file at all.
Thanks.
Ashley.

Lioz CreditAttribution: Lioz commentedHI Ashely we are working to add the sidebar size feature in the next release of the theme.
Probably will be added in the next release!

AshleyF73 CreditAttribution: AshleyF73 commentedThanks Lioz, do you know when that might be? I have actually worked it out I think on the grid system, although leaves me with a problem if I later need to have an inner page without any sidebar.

Lioz CreditAttribution: Lioz commentedHi Ashley, i'm working on it but i don't know if this feature will be available in the next release.
I think that we can let the user choose the sidebar width in theme settings and then use the remaining space for content.
Since we are using the 960gs system we could offer 3 different widths for sidebars:
what do you think?
any other proposal or idea??

drwierdo CreditAttribution: drwierdo commentedLioz,
There should be some way of doing it right now by editing some css or the template file i guess??
Can you specify which css file or which template file controls the size of the blocks???
It will be a long wait till the new release....

I agree.. if we could find out where to change this to make the sidebars smaller and the content region larger would be a huge help..
Cheers.
