hi there!
i tried to install "localizer" and it just didn't show up in "modules" .. now i've uploaded "i18n" .. same ...
what i did:
downloaded - extracted - uploaded the folder "i18n" to "/modules/"
switched to "administer" - "modules"
searched for "i18n" and "translation" .. but couldn't find it ...
run "update.php" .. nothing changed ...
searched "drupal.org" .. nothing found ...
now i'm desperate!
plz hlp!

hi.

can you give more information so that we can assist you better? what version of Drupal / i18n are you using? does this occur while trying to install other modules?

i didn't install anything else .. so it's a clean system .. except for: one language has been added ...
i18n version: 4.7.x-1.0
drupal version: 4.7.4
it's hosted on a free host: awardspace.com

thanks to multiple installation i just mixed the modules dir .. argh! wasting time is fun!
