Currently, ldapprov stores its settings as a Drupal variable, hence stored in the variables table. This does not bode well for multiple sites sharing a database -- ldapprov settings are thus shared among all sites if the variables table is shared. It would be nice if ldapprov settings were stored in its own table. This would likely make it easier to implement #238177: Multiple Base DNs.

John Franklin CreditAttribution: John Franklin commentedStoring configuration settings in the variables table is appropriate. If you need to share a single database across multiple sites, then you either need to use a table prefix or you need to use something like Domain Access. If you're using the same memcache server for the two sites, make sure you have prefixes for the memcache bins, too.
