I like the way how the calendar view 'month' shows multiday-events (events that are running for several days) on every day-field that lies between the 'from day' and the 'to day' of the event.

Is it possible to have a similar functionality in a views list style?

Example: The event 'Conference 10' is saved as a single event (node) with a date 'from' 2011/03/27 'to' 2011/03/29 and should be shown in the following list style:

2011/03/27
Conference 10
Dinner

2011/03/28
Conference 10
Party

2011/03/29
Conference 10

What I tried so far:
Views & date fields, view grouped by day: I can’t create per-day-entries for an event that is running several days (like in the example above). There is either only 'from – to' or only the 'start day' shown:
2011/03/27 - 2011/03/29
Conference 10
>>or<<
2011/03/27
Conference 10

Calendar View: I don’t have a list style and it only shows one month at a time, not all future events on one site

Is there a way to get this working?

This may be a duplicate of the following: http://drupal.org/node/1124616. Since this isn't an out of the box calendar view being created, this may be more appropriate in the Date or Views issue queue. I'm betting Date, but would feel better if a maintainer made that call!
