I don't think this possible with our current tools and perhaps I am just a bit nutty :)

I was wondering if a theme could be tied into a Cron function, causing theme to change based on time of day?

- Sunrise
- Day
- Sunset
- Night

That should be relatively easy... find the place where they use the existing drop down value and then force the selection depending on time. Know however that by default you don't know the timezone of the user...
