Email a Node on Creation

I created a Fault Report form using CCK, but I would like it to be emailed to the person that takes care of Fault Reports when the user presses submit (Without having to put in an email address). Is it possible to do this without having it create a node that will end up in the ether of my drupal install? (Or have that node self delete after certain number of days?)
