Voting starts in March for the Drupal Association Board election.
For my current site I was able to come up with 2 solutions to embed YouTube videos. However neither one is perfect so I was wondering how you guys handle that or if there is a better way to do it:
just paste a URL into your text body and the Player shows up. Bad thing, you have to stick with a certain size, correct?..no interactive resizing within the text body.
CKEditor media embed:
paste the embed code of the YouTube Video into the according field, video comes up nicely. Now you can resize that embedded media field object. You don't have to stick with a certain size. Bad thing you're gonn have to copy paste the embed code....not just the URL which I think is more convenient.
So is there a way to do both...just use the plain URL but still be able to resize the video within the text body?
I saw joomla doing this nice and easy which is kind of bugging me :( the guy pasted the URL (not the embed code) into the media embed field and still was able to resize the whole player.
if yes I'd be thankful to learn how to achieve that....
