Hello,
I write this to vent my anger on failing continuously to submit forms protected by Mollom.

I wanted to contact drupal association at http://association.drupal.org/contact regarding my query here: http://drupal.org/node/1014396

But each I type in the captcha letters, i get this error message:

The word verification was not completed correctly. Please complete this new word verification and try again.

I am Human, not a robot, as you can see me writing this post AND I have no eye sight problem :)

More than 20 times of trying the captcha, I am not able to submit the form.

This is not the first time, I (a Human) get caught by Mollom. I tried to comment on buytaert.net post a few days before but Mollom said "Your comment has triggered SPAM notice" (something similar, I do not remember exactly now).

Months before, I faced the similar problems with one of my client NGO site using free Mollom, and I finally decided to uninstall Mollom.

Finally a question arises, is Mollom dependable?

Do you have Mollom session IDs we can look at?

Thanks Dries for your prompt attention. When you actually asked for a session ID, I was at loss. I didn't store it last time and thought I could just post you the time and date I tried to comment. But then I thought, why not try again and see if Mollom finds me as a robot? My try was worth. Mollom on your website (http://buytaert.net/) triggers spam notice for my comment again.

Page I tried to comment: http://buytaert.net/an-improved-webform-user-interface-for-drupal

The form that I tried to comment now at the above mentioned time has this code:

<input type="hidden" value="form-dc85d5c4fd587447de1919dd0102f7fa" id="form-dc85d5c4fd587447de1919dd0102f7fa" name="form_build_id">

The exact error message that I got is

Your submission has triggered the spam filter and will not be accepted.

I hope this helps.

The error message that I got on drupal association contact form (a few days back) was regarding captcha mismatch. I tried at least 20 times but without luck. Then I tried to use the audio captcha but I could not understand any of the letters pronounced. Not that I lack listening skill in English, but the language that I heard from form is not in English. The only letter I understood was pronounced 'beta'.

If you need any other information, please let me know. And if there is a place to report genuine comments from being blocked, it would be ideal. This can be a link in the forms (or in the error messages from Mollom) that are protected by Mollom which says something like "If you believe Mollom has wrongly caught your message, please click here to sumit a report". This link should then submit the entire form variables to Mollom for possible analysis.

Dries, I personally wish Mollom to be great success in 2011 than in 2010, because of You, drupal and the community behind it. My intention in starting this thread was more to find the right person to solve it (or give solution) than to give negative comments. However, my tone was 'venting' because I am frustrated as a user to see me blocked to express my opinion by a machine.

On a side note, since you (Dries) will be reading this, one of my friend & colleague has your photo on his desktop with a caption that says : "Don't go for his hairs, look at this skills, the world needs more like him!".

You're certainly not the only one to have this problem, and there are lots of people in the *posting* world who are annoyed with Mollom. #869782: Allow users to report in case they are blocked deals with this. My own rant is at http://randyfay.com/node/69

Since I am not the only one facing this issue, I hope someone from Mollom will quickly attend to it. I linked this thread to a bug report on Mollom project page: http://drupal.org/node/1032432

On an another note, while Mollom is displaying it's records at http://mollom.com/scorecard

Mollom is currently protecting 36,255 active websites. The average efficiency is 99.88%. This means that only 12 in 10,000 spam messages were not caught. Mollom has caught 366,284,129 spam messages since it started. Yesterday we caught 470,159 spam messages. On average, 90% of all messages are spam.

Should n't there be a statistics that shows HOW MANY LEGITIMATE forms were blocked? One cannot take "366,284,129" messages to be SPAMS, there might be definitely a considerable number of Legitimate messages in those captured spams.
