great looking skin but it crashed my server, it took me a while to understand that this is coming from the theme.

Did you install the NineSixty base theme before installing Jackson? It may be a good idea to read up on how to install sub-themes in Drupal. Here is some more information for installing sub-themes: http://drupal.org/node/225125
