Hi

installed the event module, and i got it up and running almost.. got 2 problems..

1: in the install.txt it says:

"4. You must then enable one or more node types to be used with the
event system. You can do this by going to admin/node/configure/types
and selecting a node type from the list. If the event calendar is
installed properly you should see a section called 'Show in event calendar:'
with three options below it:"

I cant find that section?

2: Is it possible to get events shown in a colum on the right/left side of the page? instead of it being shown on the front page?.. so you have linke the menu on the left and the events on the right, and content in the middle?

problem #1
goto administer -> settings -> content types
click configure next to the content types that you want to be added to the event calendar.

problem #2
create a new menu administer -> menus
point it to the event calendar page view
enable the event module blocks (if any)
administer -> blocks
