Link trim setting conflicts with Views trim

I do like this module.

But, unless I am seeing things, the Link module trim setting conflicts with Views field trim setting. Example: Using no title; URL as link. (Specified in Link module settings and in content type node display options.) Since I want the untruncated URL on the full content nodes, I have the Links trim set to null (unlimited). In my views sidebar block, I set the output to trim and show elipses (truncate at word boundary is _not_ set). But, the URL shows in block as "..." It shows correctly in its entirety in full node.

If I remove the views trim and set the Link trim, the link displays in block correctly. However, the link then also is truncated in full node, which is undesirable. I think that the Link trim should _not_override the Views trim, since there is no other option to specify Links behavior with views. Or, there should be more than one Link trim setting: one for full node, one for teasers, views.

The Views are set up the same as before I installed Link module. And, they displayed as intended.
