Hi,

I've installed drupal in a virtual machine on my workstation to test if it would be possible to convert my current website: http://www.ar.media.kyoto-u.ac.jp/members/david/ to drupal. Drupal is set up, but now that I have to "import" the data into drupal, I am a bit lost in the taxonomy system, and its link with menu and the whole hierarchy of my website.
Basically, I created a new menu, and added items corresponding to the ones in my current website (softwares, welcome and so on), added static pages for welcome and contact info, but for more complex content, I don't know how to do it.
One specific example: at the current software section http://www.ar.media.kyoto-u.ac.jp/members/david/softwares/index.html , there is a small general presentation, and a presentation for each of my project. Each of those presentation then link to a section specific to each software package.
I don't know how to do that in drupal: I though to create one node for the general presentation, one node for each specific presentation, but then, how do I put them together ? How do I create a more complex "article" with several sections into it ? Should I use the taxonomy system (with one vocabulary for softwares, for example) ? I didn't find any explanation on the drupal website about this, but it may just be that I am not looking at the right place

thanks,

David

I think you can do this either with the Book module if you don't require a lot of flexibility or with Views. For both of these you can enable a block that will automatically display all the links.
