In 1995, OpenSourcery's founder Brian Jamison began working with large corporate organizations to create impressively large-scale websites for world-renowned brands. In 2004, Brian founded OpenSourcery to serve the web needs of non-profits, governments and other organizations working for the public good. Twenty-one team members have since joined this effort and every project in OpenSourcery's successful eight year span has focused on our desire to help responsible businesses, non-profit organizations, and humanitarian and environmental causes reach their goals. We employ only local, full time Drupal experts, and Drupal is our sole technical focus. We have a wonderfully successful history of working with responsible companies, government agencies, higher education and non-profits -- and our development model is tuned to meet their unique needs.
As the largest and oldest Drupal consultancy in the Pacific Northwest, we're deeply invested in Drupal and the Drupal community. Locally, OpenSourcery hosts Portland's Drupal User Group meet-up (since 2007), co-organized and sponsored the 2009 Drupal Camp, the 2011 and 2012 Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit, is co-organizing and sponsoring the 2013 Portland Drupal Business Summit, and is co-organizing and sponsoring DrupalCon 2013 in Portland.
Our entire development team hangs out in the IRC and happily help other developers on a daily basis. Our team members have contributed to parts of Drupal versions 6, 7, 8, and Drush, as well as numerous modules. To date, more than 1,500 websites use Drupal code created by OpenSourcery.
Please visit our Drupal give page at http://www.opensourcery.com/drupalgive for links on our many contributions and a monthly contribution summary.

OpenSourcery is the the oldest and largest Acquia-approved Drupal training partner in the Pacific Northwest. We've been providing all-Drupal training for years. OpenSourcery provides the only guaranteed-to-run Acquia-approved training west of the Mississippi. In fact, we're one of only three companies worldwide to offer guaranteed-to-run Drupal training.
We offer a variety of training courses including the full suite of Acquia-approved training:
Hello Drupal!, Drupal 7 in a Day, Site Building for Drupal 7 and Drupal 7 Layout and Theming.
We also offer our Test Kitchen courses (http://training.opensourcery.com/recipes) which focus on specific features using contributed Drupal modules and 3rd party libraries. These are for users who have completed either of the foundation classes (Drupal 7 or Site Building) or who have previous experience with Drupal.
In addition to being partners with Acquia and providing feedback and improvements for their training materials, OpenSourcery writes our own materials using an extensive well-developed and highly technical process that maximizes for efficiency and re-use. Using this process we're able to train all sizes of teams on a specific topic or build out custom training curriculum with materials which can then can be reused as needed to train additional employees in the future.
