I don't understand why node/%/edit uses admin theme, but node/%/revision does not. Makes no sense except for revision views.

Makes sense, especially because those pages are served in the Overlay, and the change of theme is really weird there.

I filed this bug against some other modules, too, such as NodeQueue, so perhaps we need some documentation about the best practice.
