dawehnerIs this true for tokens? I think they are runned often. But i think the hook is large, see taxonomy or node for example,

For dereine's question, I can't remember exactly how we arrived at this but there was a big discussion back in the original patch that added this 'group' stuff. I think it was more the size of the arrays.
