Wiith the latest static versions of Wkhtml, the server X11 is not needed, i have delete the lines corresponding and it works fine.
It would avoid many problems and the performances, i suppose, would be better.

It has always been the case. If the module can't find Xvfb, it will try to run without it...

Anyway, as the code is there and may be useful to some cases, I think that adding an option to not use Xvfb would be the best solution.

The home page says that wkhtmltopdf needs X server, seems like this is no more the case...May be you could update the home page ?

I've just accepted your suggestion and removed Xvfb. It is now in CVS..

It seems that a running X server stopped being necessary a few versions ago..

I'll keep my fingers crossed that no one complains.
