There is no such distinction as main/not main for comments, so the $main parameter should always be zero IMHO. The comments are only listed on the node page, and not on the frontpage. Besides this small change, I am +1 for this patch, since it maintains consistency...

I'd like to see this patch land before the 4.4 code freeze. It would allow quote.module to work for both nodes and comments, which would greatly improve its usability. +1 from me
