In the future though if you see issues like this, consider tagging them as "Novice" so that some of our new contributors can tackle them. We could use your mighty brains on thornier issues, and there are not nearly enough issues at http://drupal.org/patch/novice. :)
This does not appear to be an issue in 6.x. Strange.
