Problem/Motivation

We are currently using Group Purl and Purl with Group 1.x sites. Group 1.x is going end of life and will not be updated for Drupal 11 (see the table on the Group project page).

The PURL module has been brought back to Drupal.org, and has a patch for Drupal 11.

Group Purl needs to get updated to be compatible with Group 3 and beyond.

3.x-dev is working very well -- it does depend on the D11 fixes for the Purl module. Waiting to tag a release until we have the tests running successfully.

Tests are currently failing mostly due to the purl module not yet compatible with Drupal 11. @rbrandon says he can review/publish a release with the various merge requests next week, which should lead to our tests passing.
