After this was committed to 8.x-1.x branch:

#2845941: Enable view to select just a single entry

Proposed resolution

remove drupal:media (>= 8.4) from /tests/modules/entity_browser_entity_embed_test/entity_browser_entity_embed_test.info.yml and replace with media_entity:media_entity
