Christian (https://www.drupal.org/u/chr.fritsch) and Marcos (https://www.drupal.org/u/marcoscano) have both been an important part of the Media Initiative for years. The workload for Media is slowly increasing and after talking to them and phenaproxima today, we feel it would be great to add them as official Media maintainers.
I think we need official sign-off phenaproxima here, since you already have mine, and we need them both to officially accept the responsibilities on https://www.drupal.org/contribute/core/maintainers#subsystem.
Patch coming up.

phenaproximaI think we need to list them in alphabetical order relative to the other maintainers, so I'm kicking the patch back for that.
However, I wholeheartedly endorse the addition of Christian and Marcos to the maintainer team. Drupal simply would not have a media system now if it wasn't for the unceasing efforts of these guys. So, +1 from me.

seanBNone of the lists in MAINTAINERS.txt are alphabetical though? I would be happy to change it, just saying :)
phenaproximaThey're alphabetical by last name :)
seanBAlso by last name most are not alphabetical, but I have no problem at all fixing ours.

Gábor HojtsyCommitted 0af9b10 and pushed to 8.6.x. Thanks!
If we could have gotten this opened/committed yesterday I could have already have you in my DevDays slides! Oh well.
I added you as members on groups.drupal.org/core as well as maintainers with issue queue permissions on https://www.drupal.org/project/core. Now you can reassign issue to others, reopen closed issues, etc. as appropriate.
