Since #2798127: Improve Migrate task reliability with extra sub-tasks and fixes (BOA unfork) we do a verify of the source and destination platforms before a migrate task... very nice for reliability.

But when migrating 10 or more sites it's a bit wasteful.

What about a provision_verify_platforms_before_migrate drush option?

I also added a central place to document them... suggestions about a better location or format is very welcome.
