It is a pity the CVS is so buggy with small problems. I have a complete site done for the CLL Society of Canada, but have decided not to use Drupal. I can hand roll it faster than swatting bugs.
Drupal is very interesting and nearly great. It needs a manual desperately and you should consider dropping the taxonomy, node stuff because the average user simply will not understand it. It may be very correct to use these terms in an academic computer class, but it means diddly to the average user and prevents wide adoption of Drupal IMHO
