Maybe I will want to take do this again at a later date, but right now I don't want this responsibility.
I'm not sure if the issue queue is the best place to talk about the motivations behind this. Anyway we should be moving towards a structure where people can step down their responsibilities and it's not a big deal: #1854480: Remove inactive maintainers from MAINTAINERS.txt

lauriiiThanks for all the work you've done for Seven and all the mentoring. It has been great to have you there as a maintainer taking responsibility over Seven.
Even though you are saying this shouldn't be a big deal, I admit that I feel sad to see this happening.. :(
I will RTBC this and pass it along to Dries.

xjmThanks @LewisNyman for all your great work on D8's frontend!
I've moved this to 8.0.x since we probably want to keep both branches up to date in terms of who to contact for specific subsystems; if I'm on the wrong track we can change that back.

joelpittetTestbot disagrees, I guess you can't leave;) Seriously though, thanks for your great work and frontend awesomeness.

xjmPer #2635844: Committers may add subsystem maintainers, any committer can commit this now. Thanks again @LewisNyman. Committed to 8.1.x and cherry-picked to 8.0.x.
