Thinking about http://drupal.org/node/223860 in more detail, I came to the conclusion that merging GalleryMenu module into the main Gallery module is a logical step. Many users are using this module anyway and we could simply provide an option to switch the additional functionality off. The big advantage is that we would keep the menu router items available for url validation via the D6 menu system and only add/remove/edit the link items. This also paves the way for tighter menu integration in the future.

!!! GalleryMenu module temporarily unusable. Patch to reanimate will follow shortly !!!
