On installing the module, if a user directly goes to admin/content/background-images , all that is displayed is a blank page. This is because the user has not configured admin/config/content/background-image .

This is confusing and there should be a message instead of the blank page saying that the config needs to be done.

Ha. I actually had a message for this case and everything but there was an error in the return value. Derp.

I've fixed it now and pushed it into the latest release (7.x-1.3). Thanks for the report!
