chx CreditAttribution: chx commentedWhoever uses global $form_values outside of form .inc needs to die a fiery death. I believe there were uses of it in the beginning of form API porting (and the node admin form was one of the first, ported by Adrian, as a very hard edge case) but they were hunted down like animals. So, this is the carcass, let's clean up the mess.
