It seems drupal is now supposed to be storage-engine agnostic.
Views module, for instance, removed the "MyISAM" stuff some weeks ago - see http://drupal.org/node/89332.
I guess we should do the same.

BTW, I'm planning to issue new release tomorrow when I return unless someone tells me we're not ready for it.
