Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
This issue is to track the current status of geshifilter in Drupal 8 and what we need to do before a stable release. The module works, almost all the tests from Drupal 7 passes, but still need some work:
- Remove some empty files that we do not need anymore - #2615520: Remove empty files.
- Fix for coding standarts(this is the right time todo it before a stable release). - #2615518: Fix coding standart.
- Review the code and find all comment parts with code that was not ported, or the TODOs, create an issue for each one.
- Decide what to do with geshifile and geshifield: mark then as "experimental" as they are incomplete, or remove, work on then in a branch and add again latter.
- Review all issues and see which ones affect too the 8.x version.
- Really important, but will not block a release: work on upgrade path.
