Hi, I want to start testing the Drupal 4.7 latest beta, but I don't have or wish to have my own server, does anybody offer a hosted 4.7 installation for me to work with?

You could try installing it via FTP on a free hosting service such as http://www.jamroll.co.uk

I have several hosting accounts with Drupal 4.6, can it be install through FTP alone?

Install a WAMP or LAMP stack on your PC.

It installs Apache, PHP, MySQL and some other goodies onto a windows box -- the install is VERY easy -- Then, you can demo sites/modules as much as you want --
