Giant Rabbit builds web sites and data systems for non-profit organizations.

We've been working since 2006 to help non-profits of all sizes with strategy, design, and implementation of front-end web sites, communications tools, and internal data. We've grown to a staff of 12 people in an office over a bakery; our team is made up of actors, writers, filmmakers, culinary geniuses and other creative people who also happen to be passionate about using technology for good.

At GR, our focus is building the right thing at the right time and being good stewards of our clients' resources. That means pulling back the strategic lens as far as we have to in order to really understand our clients' missions and organizations, then an up-close-and-personal engagement at every step of the way (from planning through design, training, delivery and support).

We love Drupal for all the usual reasons, but especially because when the dust settles on that first build we can teach our clients how to update not just their content, but the deepest inner workings of their own site (if they don't mind strapping on a head-lamp and going in with us).

We have processes that come from experience, but no boilerplate--one size does not fit all. We fit the project (and the budget) to the client, not the client to the project. We're also big believers in long-term relationships: we stick around after launch to help our clients' sites evolve, and provide long-term support and training.

Drupal contributions

Our staff contribute to Drupal (see linked staff profiles), and we're advocates for Drupal with our clients, bringing some great non-profit organizations into the Drupal community. We've provided Bay Area Drupal Camp sponsorship and speakers since 2013.
