Hi, 

The front page of my website looks something like this:

Each of the links is a content type.

I want to click the links (displayed on the block on the left hand-side) and open a block that displays some information (other links) related to the content type.

How can I open another block by clicking a link on the existing block?

Something like this:

Are these links names of content types?
Or are these links names of titles of nodes?

It looks like you can create a menu using the 'Hierarchical Taxonomy Menu' module.
Parent items will be links like in your picture and links with additional info will be childs menu items.

Each of the names in the block shown in the screenshot is a content type. I will try out the module that you suggested.

Hi wombatbuddy!

I believe the module works with taxonomy terms. 

Will it also work for content types?
