I'm a new Drupal user.  We have created custom content types to display a database.  When I've added custom fields they do not display for users.  They display in the admin.  Why is this?  Where can you show what product types custom fields can be 'viewed' ?

you certainly aren't using Drupal. 4.7.x as you've tagged your thread. Thus, what version of Drupal is in use.

are you using the field permissions module?

Has this issue always been? or did some change may cause the issue?

maybe, I'm not the admin who setup the site.  I do have admin creds.  The other admin doesn't speak english so we have trouble to communicate.  What they did do fixed the issue, and said that it needed to be 'linked' but not sure how to do that.  thanks for the help.
