Hi,

I tested my site google. I am getting error:

Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content

I read thru this:

https://developers.google.com/speed/docs/insights/BlockingJS

Not sure how to fix using google advise. I am using advagg module. This module fixed other errors and helped me improving the score. Is there any specific settings I need to check to fix the error?

Thanks.

Advagg Modifier (sub-module bundled with Advagg) claims to do that.

Hi drupol,

Installing advagg module has improved our website speed by 7-8 points.

What else has to be configured to get a green sign for Render-blocking Javascript.

Hi,

Installing Advagg module has improved all the recommendations from Google Pagespeed test, except for the Error "Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content" at my site at http://totalpowerquality.com.

I am on a shared CPanel server. Is that the reason? Would it help if I ask my service provider to reset the Server, if they can?

Just load necessary CSS for the inital page load and load the rest after that from the footer.

Hi, Isn;t this not easily said then than? How can I achieve this? I am not a programmer, and use all sorts of great drupal modules and a bought theme to have a great site?

You would have to manually go through the theme and separate it by hand. You could also try to adapt the settings in the second video. https://www.ostraining.com/blog/drupal/advagg/ But you will likely get a FOUC (flash of unstyled content)
