hi,

i'm having problem with the webform (6.x-3.15) module, after trying with the contact form module, that gives me the same error, that is that the email is not sent and it says to "contact the administrator if the problem persists".

i already tried to activate the smtp module, and it works, since i tried the test email and it worked.

what is the problem with this email sending?

I had the very same problem but with drupal 7, I just made sure that the web form has my email in the email settings within the web form.
then when I send an email it just says that it was not sent, check my logs and there was nothing wrong, checked my email and there was an email there from my web form.
so could u just check if the mail is actually there?

yes, the email is there, both in the webform settings "from address" and in the webform i created as a content (the "emails" section), but still not working.

what can i do?
as an observation, the webform actually works in the website, because if i go to "results" i can see the forms i sent to try the module, but not a single email was actually sent to the information center.

i've just verified that actually the website is able to send the "request new password" and "account confirmation" emails, so the server works fine, but not with the module, and i can't even find a solution to this on the internet, since when this normally happens, it's because the mail server is not set up.

does anyone have any suggestions?
