I had a problem with a content page, history, that was created but suddenly stopped doing anything other that displaying its code. I deleted it and tried to create a new one. Instead of creating history again, it created history-0. I couldn't run history-0 either. This is version 5.5. Any suggestions on what to do ?

considering you are 2 secuirty and bug fix releases behind you should first update to the latest version of core which is 5.7
then you should check to insure any and all contrib modules are up to date to insure that any bug you may have found hasn't already been fixed in subsequent releases.
