I've been doing searching on eBay integration and it all seems rather complicated and overkill for my needs. What I'm looking for is pretty simple. I have a classifieds ad section and I want people to be able to post a link to their eBay auction. I thought it might be nice if the node could automatically fetch some basic info, like when the auction ends and the current bid and display that along with the link. Does anyone have a script/module for doing that?

there is a extension for Joom** that does the same thing you are looking for (and I am too) so if a developer sees this, thet could look at auction ads for J***** (I dont meen to promote another product) and see how they are doing it, to adapt a version for Drupal.
I have been comparing the two systems and noticed that module and your post....
To me Drupal is better, but there are a few modules that arent developed yet that I would love to see.
