No matter what kind of content I post, I can't get text to appear with line breaks. I've tried the

tags, I've tried hitting 'return' up to two dozen times and all Drupal will give me one space on the same line between sentences.

PS - I get the same result whether I have filtered or full HTML ticked.

I have absolutely zero idea what I'm doing wrong here.

PPS - Line break converter IS checked.

I have tried adding (the paragraph tag) to the list of allowed tags.

Still the same result, text all runs together.

Using Democratica teme, tried switching to bluemarine and same result: text runs together
