Hi,

I have to merge contents from few nodes and write them in a file. I have to then download the file as pdf. Everything needs to be done programmatically. 

I have searched for examples to help me with it, but have not found any helpful ones.

Could you please let me know how to write the contents in a file and then let a user to download the file as pdf?

I'm a newbie here but have been sifting through pdf modules.
https://www.drupal.org/project/project_module
I haven't found a perfect module solution to what I'm working on but was able to prove I can create pdfs using https://www.drupal.org/project/wkhtmltopdf

There are 280 pdf modules. If you can figure out how to make 1 node out of many you should be able to convert it to pdf.
