Users are unable to change their passwords, and I cannot change a user's role from the administration. I submit the change, and it seems to ignore it. No error messages.

...please file a bug report, with as much detail as you can muster (Drupal version, etc.)

Note that I can't reproduce this on CVS/4.2rc.

I found out the server that is hosting me has outdated software:

MySQL 3.23.49  (current = 4.0.13)
PHP 4.1.2      (current = 4.3.2)
Apache 1.3.23  (current = 1.3.27 / 2.0.46)

I assume that's the problem, so I won't file a bug report. I'm using CVS/4.2rc.
