Dear drupal gurus, I'm wondering if drupal will allow me to have a way of creating accounts for friends to use so they can submit news articles, forum posts and pictures and have their names appear after each news article or forum post or picture

i.e. I have friend called Ben who has pic of us surfing and he is able to post picture up (and every1 discuss it/make comments on it) using an account that has been requested by Ben with details put into form and then submitted to me to approve after reviewing submitted details?

Is this possible, or some of this possible using drupal? If all this is possible do you know anyone/organisation that has done it so I could see it in action?

Just visit the administration page, user management > add new user section and set you friend a name, username and password.

Also set his status to "authenticated user" so he can post the content to your site.

sorry I know this isn't the place for it but the demo forum isn't working at the moment and this topic seems to be dead.
